West Midlands Railway invites local business leaders to discuss May timetable improvements

West Midlands Railway is inviting local economic and business leaders to find out about new opportunities arising from a range of timetable improvements being introduced in May. The train operator is hosting a special Rail and Business Breakfast in Wolverhampton, on Wednesday 20 March, to outline a range a commercial opportunities arising from changes to train services this Spring.

The Salvation Army to receive railway staff uniforms

London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway staff from across the rail network are donating old uniforms to The Salvation Army. Staff working at stations, on trains and at depots across the local rail network have been getting involved in a project to hand over redundant items of clothing to the charity.

​The Redditch Tour Series Cycle Race returns to Worcestershire on May 9 for the eighth year and West Midlands Railway has been announced as official Travel Partner for the second year. Around 15,000 people are expected to turn out for the event which brings hundreds of elite cyclists to the town.
