Temporary Changes to Snow Hill Train Services

West Midlands Railway (WMR) is temporarily withdrawing some services on the Snow Hill Lines from Monday 14 September. The company said that the impact of Covid 19 is making it difficult to provide the full timetable. Buses will operate in place of some train services.

WMR Customer Experience director, Jonny Wiseman said “We are committed to providing as many trains as we can with the resources available. We are sorry that we have had to make this decision but the impact of the pandemic means, despite our best efforts , we are unable to run as many trains on the Snow Hill lines as we want to.”

The train operator says that there has only been a modest increase in passenger numbers in recent weeks with fewer than 30% of pre-Covid passenger numbers travelling on its services.
