Visitors to this year's Fillongley Show will have the chance to win free rail travel. The agricultural community has partnered with West Midlands Trains to stage the event, which takes place at Fillongley Showground on Sunday 12 August.

Commuters at Bromsgrove station will have up to three additional trains per hour to Birmingham from next week, as electrification work on the line is completed. From Sunday 29 July, West Midlands Railway services on the Cross City line that currently start and terminate at Longbridge will operate to and from Bromsgrove.

West Coast main line train passengers are being urged to avoid all but essential rail travel to and from London over three consecutive weekends in August and September when Euston station will be closed.
