London Euston station reopened today (Tuesday 28 August) after the second stage of work to replace North Wembley junction was completed. The railway between Birmingham International and Rugby has also reopened following work over the bank holiday weekend.
West Midlands Railway is providing extra services for rail passengers travelling to Coventry for this year’s Godiva Festival. The free music and arts event, which takes place between Friday 31 August and Sunday 2 September, is expected to attract thousands of people to Coventry’s War Memorial Park.
Train customers in the West Midlands are being urged to check before they travel as upgrade work will affect rail travel between Birmingham International, Coventry and Rugby this weekend (25-27 August).
