Trains operating on the Marston Vale Line (Bletchley - Bedford) have been given an exciting new look thanks to the Marston Vale Community Rail Partnership. A special vinyl has been installed on the outside of two of the trains to celebrate the 175thanniversary year of the Line and promote Greensand Country, an area of special landscape character through which it runs.

Temporary Changes to Snow Hill Train Services

West Midlands Railway (WMR) is temporarily withdrawing some services on the Snow Hill Lines from Monday 14 September. The company said that the impact of Covid 19 is making it difficult to provide the full timetable. Buses will operate in place of some train services.

Local Mayor visits Bedworth station to support the work of station adopters

Mayor of Nuneaton and Bedworth, Chris Watkins and Lady Mayoress, Collette Watkins have visited Bedworth station to meet local volunteers who work to improve the experience for rail passengers. Abellio, JR East and Mitsui have today announced that Bombardier Trains and Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) have been selected to manufacture 107 new trains for the next West Midlands franchise, the financing of which is being led by Infracapital and Deutsche Asset Management.
